Not gonna lie though that its kinda hilarious that Ben Simmons gets shipped to the Nets and that team implodes before he even sees the court

This really seems like a Heat come out of nowhere opportunity. Trade everything besides Jimmy & Bam for Kyrie and KD. And I mean everything a big 4 and 11 vet minimums.
The Heat do it because if all 4 of their guys actually are on the court at the same time in the playoffs, does it matter who the 5th guy is?
The Nets do it because you get a decent group of young players, but mostly because Miami would have a pretty limited window so those unprotected picks and swaps 4+ years out would be gold.

He can try to make his way anywhere, it isn't happening.
The nets are better off letting him go than taking Westbrook.

I would love Kyrie on the Lakers. That’s almost as good as Westbrook. He and AD would be a perfect pair with an older LeBron. Those two would give LeBron so many gray hairs with their BS and taken games off. I would love to see them sign long term.

I tried and come up WAYYYYYYYYYY short salary wise. Don't see how the heat can do it.

This is probably going to officially end the "3 superstar" superteam model. We're going back to 2 and change, now.

Or Kyrie actually decides to lock in, relative to him, and he's good for 2-3 years, which kills our trade value.
I don't care about the Lakers 4 years from now. I care about them for the next 3 years and the most likely outcome of Kyrie going to them isn't the best for us.

You'd have to include some S&Ts of guys like Tucker and Oladipo, and they could go to 3rd teams if the Nets don't want them.

Kyrie and “Heat culture” or whatever they call it would be gold.

I'm still coming up short.

how could any team want to sign Kyrie to a long term deal, while also giving up assets to do so?
Only the Lakers or Knicks would be so stupid.
and there's no reason to keep Jaxson. We aren't going to resign him. He isn't going to be a sought after RFA, so having the right to match offers next offseason isn't a big deal to anyone wanting to grab him now or at the deadline. I seriously doubt he can do enough in the next few months to change that.
If there's a team out there that is interested in his services for this year and possibly aid in his development, then let em have him.
there are teams out there with TPE's that could take him, Pacers being one that i would think would like him, although they dont' really have anything i'd expect back.
a simple Graham/Jax for Harrison Barnes works perfectly. Considering what Jerami Grant went for, i doubt we need to add anything more than maybe a 2nd or two to make that work. But even something like that still leaves us kind of thin down low. I know Barnes is a 4, but he's not a big 4 like Nance and Jax are.
I also think it would be worth a call to Brooklyn to see if they would be interested in a S&T with Blake Griffin. I'd have no problem giving him a Temple like deal 2/$10M with the 2nd year a team option. He'd be a nice backup to Zion, as well as a good veteran leader for the team. That would allow Liddell a chance to play as well as Trey at the 4 b/c you can expect Blake to miss games.

ESPN Sources: Outside of the Lakers, there are currently no known teams planning pursuit of sign-and-trades for Nets G Kyrie Irving. No sign-and-trades can be formally discussed until after 6 PM on Thursday. Brooklyn isn't believed to have interest in available Lakers packages.

The only way he's making it to the Lakers is if he's willing to sign for the tax payer MLE.
He's a crazy person, so I wouldn't put it past him.

If he's not, then we could be interested if the price is lowered.
