I guess I’ll get this started. I thought it was a good conclusion based on what had led up to it.
Frustrating show. Criminal underuse of McGregor.

It pains me to say it but this show was just not very good. What an enormous case of blue balls.

I agree. The best episode of the series, but that was a low bar. They are set up for another season, but I don’t know how that gets done without more Vader.

Finale was the best episode, but the whole thing was a tease.
There is a decent story in there, but they had to shoehorn superfluous characters in to make it fit the corporate narrative.

The finale was the sort of episode the entire season should have been. Deborah Chow does good action scenes as a general rule of thumb. This episode also had far less of the stench of Kathleen Kennedy on it, probably because there wasn't room for her to "improve" the story.
A strong finish to a weak season.
I have a feeling that the original scripts that Kennedy flushed for being too dark would have made a better series, if only because the revised ones gave Lucasfilm a year and a half to screw things up.

Thanks for starting the thread! totally forgot, about to start it now.

Totally forgot this was coming out today. I'm amazed at how unexcited I am for a Kenobi show.

Great final episode… that Vader and Obi-Wan duel was fantastic. They also finally used some of the older scores which made some scenes better, not sure why they held off for so long. The last two were the best two episodes and that has got to do with Stanton (Oscar winning writer) being the guy on the last two.
Will be interesting to see if we actually get a second season and what could potentially be in it.
Wish we could have gotten an explanation on how Reva survives? That seemed lazy in my opinion. Also should have just had much less of her and more of Darth from the 1st episode.

I don’t know about y’all, but Disney Star Wars has made me see how white and privileged and male and heterosexual I really am. I must repent.

Just like every other disney plus series, halfway through the season I was wondering why the hell are we even doing this. But as usual, they finish strong enough to keep you on the leash.
That last 30 mins was great. The voice going back and forth between vader and anakin was chilling.

It was a good episode and a decent season. My biggest issues mostly have to do with the story fitting into A New Hope. First and foremost, I think prime suit Vader should be more powerful than Obi-Wan and that the only reason OWK’s alive in ANH is because Vader couldn’t find him between Mustafar and the Death Star.
But that aside, Obi-Wan should have killed Vader in this episode. Obviously he couldn’t because of plot armor but he definitely should have under the circumstances.
I have always thought of OWK as the consummate Jedi. Not necessarily the most powerful but the most professional, so to speak, who would do the right thing regardless of his personal feelings. He left Vader/Anakin for dead on Mustafar and he survived. He should have put his personal feelings for Anakin aside and struck him down without any hesitation the second time. Instead, he lets him live to be even more pissed off and terrorize the galaxy indefinitely until they meet again.
He told Vader/Anakin twice “I will do what I must” and didn’t follow through either time. The first time he probably didn’t expect Anakin to survive. The second time his head should have been flying off.

Fantastic end to the show. The last two episodes (especially this one) saved it. They shouldn’t have a season 2. That was a perfect ending

Cool fight. Ripped off Rebels with the Vader mask scene. Saw that coming.
Best episode, but nothing felt earned and little made sense. People just wanted to see OWK v Vader and apparently don’t care how it happens as long as it does; even if it creates a half-dozen more plot holes.

The finale was what I wanted to see the entire season.

Just finished it, and really enjoyed it. That was definitely the best episode of the season. I thought they actually tied everything together pretty nicely and it brought up the quality of the lesser episodes.
I guess I would have to say the series as a whole was a bit of a disappointment, as my expectations were sky high, but I still enjoyed the series and am glad I watched it. I liked it better than Boba Fett.

Got annoyed with any princess time in the final episode.
Way too much of her, she should have been part of 2 episodes at most. frick Disney for trying to turn this into a kid draw. There are disclaimers for violence and the people who wanted to see that shite the most are in their 30s and 40s.

it's the whole plan, destroy, series and character favorites, make them look stupid and pussies.
they literally did everything they could to chump skywalker out in the last films. Now it's another favorite, Bens turn.

Ewan is just so money in that role

This is an absolute chore to slog through. Is Reeeeva having a stroke or something when she asks Owen where Luke is? What a god awful actress

I really enjoyed it. Was it perfect? No. The writing wasn't the best at times but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the show.
Ewan nailed it as Kenobi and I thought Hayden did very well too.
Not trying to say too much because I have no idea if this is a spoiler or non spoiler thread but I really enjoyed it.
