Think that's bad? Check out this guy kicking a barbell out of a kid's hands (youtube).
That is an automatic trip to Sonic

That was 3 years ago. I didn’t realize the term “Karen” was around back then. I thought it started with the masked covidians.
The term has been around for several years. It was meme about white entitled suburban women (with the short haircut) who want to speak to the manager. It just became popularized during Covid with both sides acting like the other were Karens

I’d love to see the original video

She would have had Jon Pall Sigmarsson arrested:
"There is no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlifts!"
"I am not an Eskimo, I'm a Viking!"

Some wrestlers used to do shite like that in the 80s during the Cold War when the “scary Russian monster” gimmick was common.
One played it up to the hilt to the point where the Gym spoke to him in slow, deliberate English asking him to bring in his on-screen handler so he could translate that he needed to pay his membership fees.

As usual with memes, it’s hard to find the real origin. Some people think it started with the Mean Girls movie. All I known is I’ve been seeing Karen memes for several years before Covid. There’s a shitty frickyouKaren sub Reddit that started a few years before Covid too.

Dumbass maglida openly admits he doesn’t really lift but then prepares to educate everyone else who does on proper strength training. Got to be a troll right?
pretty typical behavior of someone of his political persuasion, they usually admit they have never done or tried something but then proceed to "educate" us on the subject.

I'm impressed by the double overhand grip with no straps more than the deadlift itself. Guy deserved to drop that .
I don't understand why people are so against dropping weights. Yeah, don't drop cast iron plates from any type of height. But most weights are made to take a little drop. The bars are most of the time.

Yeah that guy has got to be a super pussy. He hasn't shown back up to defend himself or Karen since everyone started shitting on him

Better consult the rules before you do it. Dropping the bar cost Eddie Hall a world record once.

I would’ve yelled at him - for his phone number

You would. Your type has feminized the damn gym so much its becoming a coffee bar.
Women are risk averse, scared of everything and bothered by stuff men do. Go find a womans gym.

I don't think the guy is excessive. He wasn't too loud and only one rep.
Not all. I have been blasted for doing deads in several gyms I have trained at for much worse. Mostly by fricktard trainers that come over to bitch because I guess their cuck clients were agitated. One said I needed to touch down softer. I laughed at the dude because it was like 495 and I was in a rack. Gravity usually wins on heavy deadlifts. The only thing this baw probably should have done different (and this purely for show) is put some kind of those thin foam mats down on each side to merely have an appearance that you care about those floors.

Sadly, no.

I blame all the new age classes. Zoomba, roomba, macarana, charleston...
All designed to attract people who would be better off in libraries.
My favorite bar to work out at was a biker hangout in Bossier. There were women there, but I think they could beat my arse.

Not at all, I love libraries, take my granddaughter often. But they are quiet, not loud. I started to use church, but I've seen some loud churches
