One of the most bizarre things I've ever been a part of. This is for tax shite, I've never met this guy and he opens the call with a 10 minute presentation about how to keep your house safe while you're on vacation. And was dead serious about it.

I was warned this guy was a little out there, but what the frick

anytime we have a meeting of 3 or more people we have to start with a safety topic that is relative to the time of year etc. Everyone is taking vacation right now so the topic is fine. now the 10 minutes is a little overkill.

Just leave your kid behind and have them set up booby traps.

We open all of our meetings with a safety topic. They aren't always relevant to the job. This morning the RM spent 10 minutes talking about sunburn.

Bro. You need a trust that owns a corporation that is housed in your residence. Then you hire security for the corporations and it is a business expense.

Why do you not know this?

Tell me you don’t have any big company clients without telling me you don’t have any big company clients.

just smoke a joint at or before the safety meeting (depending on where you work) like most people do, then sit back and let your mind wonder

Most operations and manufacturing facilities require this if meeting with 3 or more people. This is a common safety culture thing. Usually it lasts 1-2 min

All he's reiterating is when there is 1 less man at the waffle house just prepare a little more. What's the issue?

I work in the oil industry and that is how we start our meetings. Doesn't have to be that long but the idea is keep safety in mind at all times whether at work or at home. This has been going on for years in this industry.

How is this a safety topic as it pertains to ANY work place or person? Home security isn't safety.
