Brah I draw the line somewhere.

I will just use the cricket to catch a shellkracka. Use the shellkracka to catch a catfish. Eat most of the catfish. Use the head to catch a gator. Good for a week or 2.

Just wait until bug eating gets big enough to where the raising of bugs in bug farms is deemed cruel and unethical and all bugs must be caught in the wild.

Nailed. Those two acts have this in common: They are BOTH repulsive, disgusting, abnormal, AND un-natural.

The Luciferian Sociopaths are attempting to normalize and invert to the full 180 degrees anything and everything that's insane, ugly, evil, and repulsive. (Basically turning God's world upside down, literally.)

Insects carry large amounts of parasites. Parasites that are often dangerous, even deadly, to humans.

quote:

Let’s be honest; there are good reasons why we’ve been trying to keep bugs away from our food instead of eating them. Many insects feed on decaying matter: rotting food, animal corpses, human waste which are full of bacteria. This is a common danger associated with wild caught insects.

Food Waste
What’s more, there is the potential for a small amount of microbial fauna and spore-bearing bacteria to find its way into farmed bugs that we use for food. The insects need to be bred in a clean environment.

Unfortunately, many insect farms in Asia don’t necessarily obey with the high hygienic standards.

It has also been found that insects can carry parasites which are harmful, even deadly [13].

In the early 1950s, it was found that a large number of people living in Malaysia had been infected by an intestinal “fluke,” or an infestation of harmful bacteria, which they had gotten from consuming dragon flies.

It’s not the ideal model, but abandoning it without a plan in place for more sustainable farming sure as heck isn’t either.

Humans didn't become the dominant species by eating bug burgers.

I think this pretty much comes down to the two groups of people and their approach to food. One group only eats traditional foods that they grew up with, and they find this gross. The other group is willing to try new, different foods without much thought of perception.

Pretty much THIS:

Thanks to social media, indoctrination centers (academe/public school, TV / sports / politics / Hollywood fandom), we have a society of obedient, compliant Lemmings.

Meanwhile they refuse to recognize the completely viable option of feeding iron ore to plankton and letting the blooms process 2/3 of our current co2 emissions for a few million dollars… But no one can make money on that

I LOVE all the pearl clutching by a bunch of people that make eating "mudbugs" a significant part of their culture

It does, but why would we eat bugs that way an eighth of an ounce when you can kill one pig that weighs hundreds of pounds?

There used to not be billions of people on the planet living nearly 80 years either

Humans for thousands of years have thrived on eating larger game. If insects were such an important food source then everyone in the world would eat them.
