What would you want to see done at a constitutional...

convention.
I think Term Limits would be #1. 12 years as either a Senator or a Rep. No you can't jump from one to the other to get 24. But you could become VP for 8 years and then President for 8. I also think there should be an age limit for Supreme Court Justices. Make up a number, but I'd say 80 is plenty enough.
Also, set the Surpreme Court at a fixed number of member to prevent packing.
How would you amend the constitution?

Repeal the 19th Amendment

A Supreme Court Justice should be required to know the definition of a woman.

Return power to the states, reduce the size of the federal government. Require balanced budgets at the federal level.

FIFY
any SCOTUS nominee should be required to have been a sitting judge for no less then 15 years on the bench

i agree with those, and i would add everything needs 2/3rds majority to pass in house or senate, no more nuke option to force shite through.
'
i would also say no national election voting of any kind can be counted unless done in person with picture ID required and the only exception is for military serving outside the country or state they reside in
then add that federal law could never trump state law especially as for as elections go

Term limits are without question the most important step to breaking down the DC shite Show….most politicians don’t want term limits because it limits their ability to reach their full potential to cash in using their political influence peddling schemes.

I personally think that as long as a judge is mental fit they can serve. There is some wisdom gleaned with age that you could potentially be wasting.
In regards to elected officials I could not agree more.
I would add on:
- you can not be a lobbyist post serving in Congress
- require a balanced budget
- voter ID and notary requirements for mail in ballots

Considering todays political climate, the last thing we need is anyone fooling with the constitution. The results could be total destruction of the document.

Disagree. I’m fine with term limits, but IMO the 17th amendment is the largest culprit to the ruining of Congress. The States are no longer represented in federal government. That has had a direct correlation to the expansion of federal power and control.
The Senate was never intended to be a smaller version of the House with larger districts.

100%. Force Congress to work together FOR THE PEOPLE like they're supposed to, instead of putting on the "at-odds" show and then laughing at us while wining and dining together in their gated community mansions.
Also, FORCE politicians AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS to provide ACCURATE documentation, under SEVERE PENALTY OF LAW, of ALL SOURCES OF INCOME for four years prior to serving in office, during office, and for 10 years AFTER leaving office.
FORCE HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY.
This is the only way. Government offices were never intended to exist for the purpose of personal enrichment. They were intended to be held by people who genuinely wanted to serve for the betterment of our once great Constitutional Republic.

To this I would add that each state is responsible for paying representatives and deciding when they get raises.

Executive orders require an “acted upon by Congress” date
Limit legislation length and scope allowed by a single bill
Require a balanced budget at set terms
Rewrite the amendment on congressional pay raises so the raise does not take place until the next person occupies the seat.

This x1000. The Con-Con is a con.
Washington routinely ignores the Constitution as it is. The last we thing we need is tasking the very entity which has so abused the Constitution over the years with rewriting it.
“I certainly would not want a Constitutional Convention. I mean whoa. Who knows what would come out of that?” Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

This right here. The Senate was originally set up the way it was on purpose, and as is usual we had to frick it up.

Yes.
The purpose of this amendment is to deter tyranny imposed by the US or other governments on US citizens. Therefore every adult has the inalienable right to possess any and all firearms that are the equivalent to any firearms utilized by the militaries in the world. (That’s just off the fly, there are no doubt better ways to make it absolute but that should be the spirit of it).
Term limits and no ability to gain ANY revenue as a result of one’s service as an elected official in the Us govt - while in office or anytime thereafter. That includes book deals.
No foreign ownership of US soil

All proposed bills must be stand alone bills. No hiding pork in ridiculously huge and convoluted bills.
