I'm just curious, but did you read the books? It seems like the people who don't want more GOT shows were the ones who didn't read the books.

One of my favorite characters thru the couple of seasons I've watched.

I'll take it. Life was so much better when GOT was on TV. People of different backgrounds and beliefs watched and commented on Facebook. I miss those days.

I'm down with showing what he's doing now, but my fear is that it won't be as compelling without the "what if he was king" factor. ETA: I have many questions about what they will show from a GOT standpoint.

Now, the article mentions a Dunk and Egg series coming too. I'm down for that.

My observation is the opposite. People who didn't understand the characters were less upset with the last season

Or the complete opposite. People who haven't read the books aren't as invested in the characters and don't care if the characters get botched up. I really like book version Jon Snow, I don't care to see HBO screw his character up even more.

I read the books twice and I don’t want more shows. Hell I’m not even sure I give a damn about getting the rest of the books at this point.

How about they just say season 8 was a fever dream Bran had and redo all of that

Nailed it.

No desire to go back to that storyline, ever, unless its a complete redo of the ending.

Interesting. Looks like I'm a "little" off on this I loved the books and want more shows.

What if the new show corrects the wrongs and the climax is Jon becoming the true king?

Your Article is from 2022.

I hate to burst your bubble but the Daily Mail has an article where Kit Harrington says the spinoff is no longer a go.
