If you go into Marietta, check out Brandi’s World Famous Hotdogs.

The Battery connected to Truist Park is cool. If the Braves are in town go to a game.
Edit: just checked and the Braves are away all week.

Go see my buddy Fares at his place, Del Bar in Inman Park.
Really good Middle Eastern cuisine, reservation recommended.

I hit Del Bar last time in town …. Solid addition to Inman, which is pretty meh food wise except Boca Lupa, Sotto Sotto and Ticonderoga

I’m n ATL several times a month… Little Alley Steakhouse in Roswell is fantastic. Good area to walk around, too.
Quit staying in Buckhead and started staying in Alpharetta a couple years ago. It’s a drive from Braves Stadium, but worth staying there rather than being in “town.” Avalon has good Marriott and several good restaurants

Superica (Mexican) and Antico (pizza) are both in the Battery and great. Garden & Gun is also good. Stay away from C. Ellets (steakhouse). It is terrible. Some good places a little further away but still close are Canoe, Laseter’s, C&S Seafood, Heirloom BBQ and OK Cafe.

I’m happy to defer to board but I think this short answer is no. Not really any must have ATL food spots. I will say that I love Monday Night’s beer but I’ve only been to the one in Bham.
For the board, is Something Special worth a trip. Read something about it that peaked my curiosity.

Yes that’s the reason I’m going to Atlanta to catch the braves

I’d go for lighter fare. Heat index is 115.

Get a hot dog at The Varsity near Georgia Tech. It' been around since the 1930's.
