Got a family dinner to go. The meat was very good but the sides were even better. We had the greens, sweet potato casserole, corn pudding and macaroni. I can’t tell you what was the best because they were all excellent. I’m a greens guy and was very impressed

Nice to know about good sides. Many places don’t put effort into sides.

I really like it. Good food and friendly service. Drive-thru is a mess but it works. Definitely recommend.

Hit their drive thru on Wednesday.

Waited about 25 minutes for the food but I scraped my plate clean.
BBQ chicken
Smoked gouda mac and cheese
Steamed broccoli
Banana pudding

Same. Their greens are some of the best I’ve had. Just add a little Crystal and they’re damn near perfect.

I went to the Prairieville location a couple of weeks ago. Got the beans and potato salad. Both were not good. Beans were 100% straight out the can with pulled pork thrown in. And not the fatty, smoky pieces that can cook down with the beans. No, like they opened a can, warmed it up, and then threw cubes of meat in it and served it. Potato salad was really bland, I felt like I was eating potatoes with Mayo and nothing else for flavor.

I will try other sides next time.

Also, a side note: the interior had greasy smudges on the wall behind the table. The place needs a deep cleaning.

Is Bluebonnet the new location? Seems they are putting all effort into it and kind of letting the other locations fall off. A recent meal at the government location has me not wanting to eat their food ever again.

I have had the Prairieville location several times and have enjoyed it each time until I had it for Memorial Day. Ordered online and went pick it up and still waited 45 minutes there. Then when we ate it at home, the beans had a noticeable funk in the smell and taste. The brisket and pork were both dry as well.

I went to Government a few weeks ago due to the praise it gets here, and I was kinda confused because it wasn't very great.

I eat Hannah Q pretty regular at work and really enjoy it. We live in south BR and With Couyon’s food truck the only option in the area I was excited when I saw Hannah Q opening a location near Albertsons on bluebonnet.

My only experience with new location was a weekday lunch takeout. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Ordered brisket plate lunch for daughter. The lunch plate taste was consistent with other locations however I was disappointed in the amount of food in the $12 plate compared to Prairieville location.
Hopefully was just a fluke that plate portion was off.
Thanks Biden?

This x 1000. I’ve been really unimpressed by the Prairieville locale. SLOW as frick, even with just two other people in the store. Meat is fine but nothing memorable. Sides were bland, canned, whatever.

Biggest problem I've had is that it's inconsistent. Sometimes it's really good, but other times it's pretty bad.

The government location was money then Covid hit and it hasn’t been the same. Like another poster said, they’re probably putting all effort into the new spot.

Enjoy it now because it seems like it’ll have a good year of nice sized portions and quality then tail off to be on par with the other locations.

That being said, we really liked it when they first opened the government location. I hope this new one beats the odds bc it’s on our side of town.

We’ll call in and drive through Pville every few months. The meats are ok. The greens are the best I’ve had in any restaurant. We usually order because the greens sound good and the rest is fine.
