I know you thought COVID was going to hold these plucky kids down, but you'll NEVER GUESS what disruptive technology they've come up with in order to pay the rent. That's right - ROOMMATES!!!!!
(I believe it's Greek - probably prounounced "roe uh mah tees" or something like that)
Next thing you know, they'll be figuring out how to satisfy their hunger: SWALLOWING EDIBLE THINGS!!!

In all seriousness my plan to innovate my way out of expensive rental housing is to buy shipping containers and build a house out of 4 or 5 of them on our land. You can make a really awesome looking home out of them.

We’ve had it too good for too long. That’s why mental illness is out of control. People manufactured things to seek attention, be liked, etc. Even during the pandemic we were creating a situation in which people didn’t take a hard fall more like a soft pillow landing with chocolates waiting on you.

Idk about you but I never had to live with total strangers. My roommates were always friends, coworkers, or friends of friends, and I always knew them beforehand and felt like living in the same place was feasible and a good idea.
I had one friend who found random roommates twice .. First one wound up growing pot in the house and getting my friend in hot water for a while, and the other one ran out on him and rent after ~3 months.
