Who are some good country artists that I might not have heard about and I’m not talking about Hick Pop? I haven’t lived in the U.S the past 3 years. I really like Aaron Watson, Cody Johnson, Tyler Childers, and Ian Munsick. I know about Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Whiskey Myers, Turnpike Troubadours, etc.

I love Jamey Johnson. I would say he is what started me looking for musicians outside of Nashville.

Med Ledoux is really starting to come out of his dad's shadow. Some of his stuff is reminiscent of Chris, but if you like Aaron Watson and Cody Johnson, check him out.

Ian Noe has a great new album out. Sounds like early Prine. One of the best I’ve heard this year
