My uncle had one. I remember seeing him wrap the pull cord around starter then yank it. Had to redo it every time if it didnt start.

Yep, my dad had one of those when I was a kid. He also had one of those old reel mowers, I still remember the distinctive sound it made while cutting

Bought a house with a couple of acres had to start mowing my lawn after about 25 yrs of not doing it. Bought a zero turn because it looks like it would fun and it was the first 5 times…now it is just a beating.

Im old enough to remember mowing the lawn with a heavy-arse blade reel mower. It's a miracle I never put it into the canal behind our house considering the incline of the yard.
