Yes.
I don't want your dad walking in on me and your mom. Then I'll have to listen to him sitting at the foot of the bed crying.

Hopefully I would hear that. If not, It's just my time to go, I guess.

I used to, but not anymore since we have a child.

But I lock doors like an insane person when I'm home alone.

I had sleep paralysis once and hallucinated someone coming into my bedroom. I've locked the door ever since then.

Also I would like that extra few seconds if someone invaded my home.

My best friend and I lock the bedroom door only when we break out the sex swing and the kids are still awake.

My dogs will hear anyone coming in the house at night and give me plenty of warning that something is going on

Definitely. Someone could beat down a door on the opposite side of house with a sledge hammer, and the sound would not carry to my bedroom. Use motion sensors at night too.

I do.

We had 2 breakins when I was a kid. One of which we were home.

I'm very paranoid, it's difficult for me to sleep in a room with an unlocked door. I'll wake up multiple times throughout the night to look around and make sure nothing's happening. I don't think a locked bedroom door will stop anyone from getting in, I just think it will alert me in time that I can wake up and do something about it.

I hate it.

I lock my bedroom door to keep out children, so they aren’t scarred.

I learned my lesson years ago when a lady friend was over hanging out with her kids and they fell asleep on the couch.

So I was going at it with their mom, and all of a sudden, no knock, the door swings open and I’m staring down a 10 year old while Dick deep in his mom and our eyes lock and his jaw drops like Kevin in home alone

I don’t want to scar any more children like that
