This would be my biggest issue with this season. Sometimes the wheels are just spinning in place. The hughie/starlight we fight we make up I save you you save me needs to go somewhere soon. Didn’t like how they kinda sidelined frenchie. And we’re basically where we ended the last season with another big reveal about head popper, with the stakes raised a bit and some pieces moved around.
Butcher getting more fleshed out with his motivations and limits was great. HL was great as always. A-trains reaction to the deep fricking an octopus was hilarious. Hope they kill the deep off soon cause he’s just a wet noodle now.
Really fun season and still love the show. The themes and underlying messages are heavy handed sure but it’s fun to laugh at both sides of the aisle.

If they kill off Homelander it needs to be the end of the show. The guy is amazing in the role

I imagine, short of some massive decision, that would be the case - the whole show has been building up to Butcher facing off against Homelander.
When that final battle happens, it'll be the end of the series.

I think Ryan will be involved in HL’s take down too. Or they could just decide frick it and let HL win. This show is pretty fricking crazy as is

pretty much like Game of Thrones and Joffrey. It is hard to replace that kind of villain.

maybe they have a Noir 2.0 in the show. Clone would be a pretty easy addition I feel like.

I kind of felt the same way. There was no resolution. It's a great show, but I feel like we needed more from the season finale.

Yep, I’ll watch them all but they are really backing themselves in a corner.

I loved this season, only issues I had was I wished soilder boy was involved more and them offing black noir... was ready to see him in action again

Apparently the boys have already confirmed noir will be back “but with a twist”
Im guessing they go comic route and take soldier boy’s dna instead if Homelander’s.

I’m on board with that too. Frenchie is one of the best characters on the show and he was reduced to basically a very minor side plot this season. Wasn’t a big fan of that at all. And I didn’t like how he and Kumiko basically did their own thing for half a season (along with her being neutered for most of the season as well). Hope that gets corrected for next season.

I liked it. I want to see SL be a tough out. He’s supposed to be almost unstoppable as HL. Juiced up Starlight should absolutely not be able to damage him.

Season ended up kind of sucking. Hope they wrap this show up in the next season.
