What ever happened with the AOC-Mia Khalifa chick’s daughter after she got the V shot?

Really really disappointed in the cliff dive they did after running up a mountain.

Noir was a useless character, zero reason to have him in the show other than let the people that read comics to be like “oh it’s noir!”. They had so much mystery around him and he ended up a baby back bitch.

Ryan turned on his caregiver way too quick with zero reason to that was shown.

Soldier Boy was a disappointment as he ended up being just a 1D character

HL carries the show 1000%

I understand is they wanted to rewrite noir but he did absolutely nothing in the end. Such a waste.

Honestly who gives a shite about the AOC character. What a boring storyline. HL teetering on madness and nobody can seem to contain him is 1000x more interesting. Now Maeve is equally as strong or HL just decides to go easy on her when he ripped out his “best and most loyal friend” guts out?

The mental gymnastics they went through to downplay the A-Train stuff and LGBT shite at the theme park was hysterical

Also conservatives are too dumb to realize that Homelander has been modeled after Trump

Are there any good villains in the comics they can bring in that they haven’t already?

This article might be some of what you’re looking for. Seeing the comments about the comics made me want to learn a little more. It’s a list of things that likely won’t make it to Amazon. But also has things that did happen but a little different.

Here’s a few in a nutshell:

Starlight gets “auditioned” by Homelander, A-Train, and Black Noir in the comics instead of by The Deep. She also blinds both her parents.

Rebecca dies (much more poorly) BEFORE giving birth in the comics. Butcher then has to fight a Super Fetus.

Butcher has a dog named Terror. He can command Terror to sexually assault his targets.

A character called Tek Knight will have sex with anything - including an asteroid.

Oh it gets worse.

Finally got to watch. Awesome show. Just keeps getting better.

A Train is the all time worst. No doubt. And he advertises for menthols and payday loan places. Awful.

Miss Noir.

When is Eleven going to come back? I still think we see Stormfront again.

I knew at the first of the season Butcher had created a monster.

And finally, I knew, I just knew Huey would wearing a Rush shirt at some point.

That was Butcher fault. Lets see, his Mum warn him away from his dad sure but his mother is dead now. He try to see Butcher as a father figure and was until Butcher pretty much said point blank .

"Hey, why would i care for some kid that kill my wife?"

So to him, he had no one left. IN come homelander again who not only was soft spoken but looks to genuinely care about him when no one else does. Not only that he assure him that his power going out of control is something that happen and is part of the learning curve.

So him growing attach to Homelander after being rejected by Butcher is a very good reason.

His inherit evil white nature at the end however was a wash.

Yeah the show should totally just kill the main villain now since trump is out of office*****

Or just not try so hard to tie him to…OMG…white nationalist white supremacists.

I’m still open to that, but suspicious as far as a discussion topic and minor annoyance. Not a show stopper IOW.

Maeve hung in there with Homelander much better than I expected.

I thought the same thing. That little smirk she gave right after she made Homelander’s nose bleed was fantastic. Right after that (I think) she takes a laser beam to the face and keeps fighting.

I know it’s been said a lot, but the writing is really good. Maeve’s entire arc has basically been built around fear of Homelander and a feeling that nobody can hurt him. So then when she makes him bleed, that little smirk is all that you need to immediately understand what she’s thinking.

I took it to mean she was strong enough to hurt him, and that HL was demonstrating the fact that he's so powerful that he's never bothered to train - unlike Maeve, who spends fricktons of time training. She knows how to fight; he doesn't.

It's like taking a guy who's stronger vs a still strong woman who's also a trained MMA fighter. Can the stronger guy win? Absolutely. Could the MMA fighter still frick up his day? Also absolutely.

It's not like he can just use his weight; they're both strong enough that the actual physical mass of either is completely irrelevant. She didn't need to be stronger, but rather strong enough to actually hurt him.

Definitely agree that Noir was a dropped ball for the ending. After the guy blew up Noir at point blank and Noir just stood there, I got the impression that he was tough enough to give HL at least pause. Instead - nope.

SB started off interesting, but I agree... was just 1 dimensional at the end.

I still don’t know what to make of the Maeve HL battle. Surely her fear of him was from so many battles together and this well-founded. Or maybe it was largely just massacring weak non-supes? It just seems odd that it can go from HL can easily kill me to a very close fight, with some NIF given to maybe HL not really trying to kill her, which is negated by the fact that he was going to harvest her eggs and presumably kill her. It just went from 0% chance to at least 50% chance in that battle and that alone is big.

She might have underestimated herself. She might have overestimated him. She might have also not realized how bad he was at actually fighting due to the fact that he just blasted everyone with his laser vision (or punched through them). He probably could have done the same to Maeve if she stood still.

I'm probably taking a favorable read from it, but I mostly just saw it like that - she was powerful enough that her training gave her a shot. If he had applied himself even a tiny bit (training wise), he probably kills her without too much effort.

While not quite the same, Huey amping up Starlight enough to where she could knock Soldier Boy on his arse is kind of on the same concept. They're not stronger, but given certain advantages or situational changes they might be able to seriously hurt the stronger supes.

Sort of the same reason I think Butcher did so well when fighting HL. He probably was around Maeve's power level, but Butcher knows how to fricking fight while HL has no idea how to really fight someone.

Not this noir but apparently in comics he’s stronger than HL (I accidentally stumbled upon that story line but never read the comics)

In the comics Noir is stronger; however, in the comics, Noir was a genetically modified clone of Homelander. He's there to make sure HL doesn't go off the rails... but Noir is the one that goes nuts, and in the process of framing HL drives him nuts too. Noir ends up killing HL, who is then killed by Butcher (he's ROYALLY fricked up by his fight with HL plus getting blasted by depleted uranium rounds by the Army).

Maeve is the third strongest of the 7 in the comics (so probably second in the TV show), but never specifically stated to be stronger than HL.

I like that interpretation. So many variables here.
