Yup. Left him in a little too long too. He did well to limit the damage, just made costly errors that led to runs. He definitely has his limitations. I would’ve felt better if we’d have pulled him after 4 then hand it to Viet and Cooper, but I get why he left him in.
I liked our effort. Battling with the top team in baseball and keeping them within 3 runs without Berry and Doughty in the lineup says a lot. Bianco fought like hell and I was proud of him. Hope we can get another shot at them in Omaha.

I thought it was lost by our two line drives down the line with runners on base that were caught. Versus theirs that dropped. We needed some breaks to win.

McManus missed a HR swing by an inch on his bat.
Tenn Right Fielder made a hell of a catch to rob Cranford of a 2 run triple.
Morgan would have scored after a steal to 2b. Had to return to 1st because of Jobert's interference.

Let's face it, we had to play our best game to win. Number one team in the country, and more than that the most complete team I've seen in a bit. Lsu is fine. Get a host, a little luck, and they can get to Omaha.

I’ll say this. The score was not indicative of how we played maybe one of the best college baseball teams to hit the diamond in a decade. Was impressed with how well Floyd did against those sluggers. If not for the 2 errors the game would have been much closer. JJ’s game plan was a good one. It make me feel real good about our chances in the regionals and supers.

Disappointed we lost. Encouraged we hung with the #1 team in the country with our #2 starter and missing two of our best hitters.
