I'll wager this. 5 years from now Brees will still be a multi - millionaire and much beloved and you will still be a miserable person stroking yourself over pronouncements from QAnon whose backers will also be millionaires laughing at your gullibility

I didn’t think that Brees was good at all on NBC, he was kinda stiff. I think that he would do great in a coaching role.

Brees cucked out to get in the good graces of NBC corporate.

They don't like him anymore because his rating obviously suck so they are kicking him to the curb.

Lesson learned: don't act out against your principles and look weak and undignified. Sure you would have never landed the NBC gig but at this point you would likely be in a minor Fox Sports role anyway. At least you would still have your principles and dignity in tact and be more popular with long term loyal fans. But now you lost NBC and you still don't have the previously loyal fans you lost a couple of years ago.

Yup. I understand why he did it but it's almost like a Biblical parable the way it played out. Him and Britney both apologizing was cringe AF.

I'll wager in 5 years his wife will have lost respect for him after seeing what a retard he is for the jewelry deal, spineless jellyfish for the knee-bending and no longer at the center of attention. She'll realize she's spreading her legs for a has been with thinning, oily hair and a hideous mark on his face. Some personal trainer in her future will be pushing her cervix past her sternum.

No major difference. Just a different version of collectivism and the hive mind. Purity test and all.

This is exactly what I came to post. I would love to think that I would’ve handled it differently if I were him, but I can’t be sure. I don’t think any of you could, either, if you’re being totally honest with yourselves.

Maybe but we all secretly disliked things about him and overlooked them out of admiration for his good traits. When he sold out his most admirable traits that made us comfortable mocking the hypocrisy or corny things he has done.

My favorite is how he refuses to get his birthmark removed because "God made me this way and a lot of kids can't afford to have something like that fixed" but then he turns around and gets ridiculous hair plugs as soon as he retires. Like obviously he was not genuine there and decided to use the birthmark thing as a marketing ploy and as part of his "good ole Drew" personna.

Sean Payton

He was worse than Brees. Brees disappointed many because he didn't stand up for what he deeply believed in due to his dumbass teammates crying like bitches and not even listening to the explanation behind his stance.

Payton was a huge coward who got political and pushed that crap and then went silent when the player who helped make him was getting unjustly attacked. So much for leadership.

Agreed but Sean Payton kind of embraced being a smug a-hole liberal whereas Drew was always a proud Christian flag waver so that's why Sean gets more of a pass.

This is the first time I have heard it was mandated by csp, if so then frick them both.

Should have told them to shove it.

I'm not in the same Galaxy of wealth as Drew but told my employer to shove it with the Vaccine mandated.

I don't have a lot of respect for those who have no convictions.
