Idc if they sign him really, backup should hopefully never play. If he does then Carr is injured and fricked anyways.
I don't believe the Raiders currently have a backup at all on the roster.

Their current backup would have to be Jarrett Stidham, I would assume.
And even as an Auburn fan, I think he was only picked up because of his cheap cost and familiarity in the system.

It’s about time he gets a shot. I’m tired of these NFL teams blackballing him for racist reasons. While Aaron Rodgers gets to keep playing while refusing to get a shot to protect his teammates and opposing players in the league.
