More fathers. More stable family units. Raise young men in better environments.

What’s an illegal gun?

Don’t tell me you are about to come for my 9-pounder. You’ll taste my grapeshot.

Give the shooter to the people. I can think of two dozen ways I'd like to kill a school shooter and none of them are quick and painless.

Quit coddling people and walking on eggshells around fricked up people.

There were 100 percent people who knew this guy was crazy, yet never said anything for fear of stereotyping or discrimination.

Bring back nut-houses.

We've always had the guns but this is a recent phenomenon.

Take a breath. We get it. This shite is upsetting. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if this happened to my kids school, much less my kids. But this kind of reaction isn't going to cut it. It also won't stop evil people from getting guns. This has to be a measured approach and isn't done with just a law, money, nor would it be immediate. Its complicated and will take a complicated solution. If you have that, sign me up or I'll vote for it right now. But fact is that none of us have the solution and it won't be found like this.

This appears to be a mass shooting that occurred due to dumb luck of where this piece of shite crashed. There is literally nothing that can be done about this.

Nobody kills 14 kids like that on a whim.

Im not sure how you fix it, but you can certainly look to the deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill movement (shutting down state insane asylums) as a probable cause.

I'm not making an argument that this was a bad thing for the overall well being of the mentally ill, but no one can argue that it did not introduce more crazy fricks into the general population.

Bring back the religious conformity of the 1940s-50s and a sense of belonging that comes with that.

Most, if not all mass shooters, are nihilist who take nihilism to its logical conclusion.
There is no evil according to their view because they acknowledge no reason for existence itself. So they kill.

What a dumb arse response. So going to church would have stopped this mentally unstable person from massacring children?

The first way to combat these terrorist acts is to immediately execute the shooter, provided they are captured alive with 100% proof they are the culprit of said crime.

What can we as Americans do to fix our society so that we don’t raise any more of these lunatics?

the fact that you ask this question indicates that you are too stupid to grasp the basic realities of human existence.

Just registering them and making sure you're not a fricking psycho.

Yea no way that would ever be abused and no way criminals would be able to obtain guns anymore.

What good do you think gun registration will do? Responsible gun owners aren't out randomly shooting people and many of these school shooters were already known by the FBI.

Enforce our laws swiftly, severely, and publicly.

Use some of the tax money we currently waste, on increased armed officers at schools.

That’s my start.

A bonus would be for the media to stop making the shooters famous and using these incidents for racial and gun control narratives. Honor the memory of the victims and then STFU.

Public hangings in the town squares of dna-convicted or self-confessed pedophiles, rapists, and murderers for starters.

Thee was a time when we recognized that some mental illness required institutionalization. I know that sounds harsh....but some of these events coincide with the reduction of these types of instituions and the midset that we can simply trust folks to take medicine
