Going commando with overalls. No shirt.
Are you sure you're not Bruce from "Swamp People"?
I've never seen him dressed any other way either on the TV show or on some of his u-tube videos. Overalls, no shirt and as far as going commando, I'd just assume so.

Where are the cargo shorts?
Didn't have them back then. Most store bought shorts looked just like the ones Cooper is sporting as far as fit.
We were poor, so my shorts for summer wear were old blue jeans that had the knees worn through from playing as a kid. Take a pair of scissors, lay the pants down one leg atop the other and hope to cut them in equal lengths.
Hell, I remember our gym shorts in high school being not much bigger than "Daisy Duke" shorts the gals wore back then. Think of the NBA players back in the 60's and 70's.
Now, cargo shorts come down damn near to the knee, and I saw a guy last night in the local dart league with a pair of shorts that hit him about mid calf.

I was going to make a thread about this the other day. Even with summer weddings going on, there's no way for someone other than a child or a very old man to wear full seersucker without looking like a huge douche

This was us to. My mom would use the scissors that made the zigzag cut, pinking shears is what they are called if I'm remembering correctly

My dong would hang a half a foot out of those shorts

I think those are beer caddies. Pretty smart.

You mean the guy that had his own yacht, “The Wild Goose” that’s on the national registry of historic places and an estate in Hawaii where he would host the boys like Lee Marvin, Ron Weatherby of Weatherby Rifles, Ward Bond, John Ford, and Henry Fonda. If you’re gonna talk shite, as usual, don’t let it be at the expense of a real man dead or alive.

Seersucker will have it's time again
The problem is the most recent seersucker explosion (mid/late 2000s?) was during an era of pretty boxy, minimally tailored suits in America.
When it comes back to match the more modern styling it'll be alright

I tried it once and can confirm that I felt like a massive douche the entire time.

Duke, Ward Bond, John Ford...the gang's all here. Just missing Victor McLaglen.
Call me a douche.
I wear my seersucker every chance I get starting on Easter Sunday.

Yall know that John Wayne was a draft dodger in ww2 right? Used a 3A deferment at first and then when the US needed more bodies and declared him eligible he had hollywood big wigs step in on his behalf. But yeah, cool linen suit i guess.
