Do any of y'all own one of these? The wife and I are about to be in the market for another car as child #2 in on the way. We have a smaller SUV right now but when the second one gets here, I'd like to have already gotten a bigger SUV for her. Specifically, how's the room in them? She's tall, about 5'10 and when we're riding in her car now with her in the passenger side, her knees are practically touching the dash because of the baby seat. I'm in the same boat when I ride in the passenger seat as I'm 6'0 tall as well.

So when #2 comes along, if we're still in our current vehicle, it's going to be pretty uncomfortable. But everything that I've read about the Telluride is that they're great vehicles. And for what cars are going for today, they're not going to kill my bank account.

True but you’re either gonna have to wait awhile or pay a premium

My SIL has one and it’s got plenty of room, more than a 4 runner imo

They are pretty nice and can’t really beat the warranty.

I absolutely love mine. My biggest issue is the trunk room is really limited unless you are folding the 3rd row seats. Things quickly get cramped when you have 5 people on a long car ride

The captains chairs and front seat have a ton of room

My dad was considering a Telluride but couldn't justify the crazy premium dealers were charging over MSRP. He asked one of the guys about it and he simply said "we're doing it because we can". Ended up with a used Lexus.

We went with the Hyundai Palisade. No reason other than I liked the way it looked a little better. Look at the Hyundais if you have trouble finding the Kia. Both getting great reviews and ratings.

If it gets you from point A to B reliably and comfortably, what else do you need?

Wife has one. We paid $1500 over msrp for it during the Covid with a lot of haggling. There were several dealerships that would sell at msrp and ship it but it was seeming like it would cost msrp plus $1500 or so no matter what I did. I really had to do the whole dealership dance to get them down to that and I wish I’d just ordered one and had it shipped at the end of it.

It’s been great so far, we have an ex premium with the captains chairs, tons of room. we leave the third row folded down 95% of the time for space in the back.

We bought a Telluride last fall after driving a small SUV for years.

We love it. A lot more room and plenty for us with 2 kids.

We drove all the mid sized SUVs and the Telluride drove the best IMO.

In the end we were deciding between it and the Honda Pilot. The Pilot just drove too much like a minivan. It had more features though and was cheaper.

If they still offer that 10 year 100k warranty then I would pull the trigger

Telluride beats the hell out of cheap cadillacs.

We bought the SX Premium AWD in October of 2020. Got lucky and were at the dealership (N. Austin) the morning after a delivery of vehicles. White, Nightfall edition. Paid MSRP of $50K at the time.

I have been skeptical of "Kia's", but they've been building better vehicles for some time now. This SUV is great!

There's plenty of legroom front and second row, so that won't be a problem.

It has great tech, safety features, gas mileage, and warranty. We have two girls and are always dropping the 3rd row for more passengers. Plenty of room back there with the captain seats in the 2nd row.

I'm hearing they are going way over MSRP right now. We looked at a K5 and Forte recently for my 15 year old. They are $5K and $7K over MSRP for those two cars. I've heard of the Telluride going $15-$18K over MSRP.

Good luck!

I got one a few years ago. It was their first year of production. It has been great. Lots of room. I really like the interior package. I can’t say anything negative at all honestly.

My son and daughter-in-law have had one for about 2 years - she drives it - they love it - so do I - tons of features at reasonable price - they are looking to replace it w/a new one.
