I'm not sure If I am just used to driving my truck or not, but we have a GMC Acadia, and I absolutely despise driving it or riding it in. No leg room, no head room. They try to cram too many rows of seats in those mid size SUV's. Her next vehicle will either be a full size SUV or half ton truck.

Do they still make the Honda Odyssey?

My two kids fit in a Camry just fine.

I'd like to get her a full size SUV, but I can't possibly justify that cost for those.

Don’t own one but my brother does. Took a trip from Tuscaloosa to Mobile in it. 3 adults, luggage for a few days, a dog, and child car seat. Plenty of room and quiet ride. Seemed like a solid car all around. Don’t know of any mechanical issues it may or may not have had nor the gas mileage. Sorry, that’s all I got.

The inlaws have one. I really like it. They haven't had any trouble with it. It is very roomy compared to other SUV's in a similar size class. We got rid of the SUV in favor a minivan, better fuel economy and more room.

We have the palisade as well. Its essentially the same car. Captains, captains, 3rd row bench. You get a lot in bells and whistles and Luxury VS other manufactures

We have 0 complaints about the Palisade. Plenty of room in general.

I know a guy that has the Kia and a Range Rover… both are company vehicles.. he brags about the Kia.. inside and way things are laid out…complains about the rover…

Pretty sure Kia hired a few designers from Audi a few years back to redesign their cars.

We went with the Hyundai Palisade. No reason other than I liked the way it looked a little better. Look at the Hyundais if you have trouble finding the Kia. Both getting great reviews and ratings.

i see both of these becoming more common amongst soccer/suburban moms than expeditions, sequoias, and tahoes the last few years. almost as roomy as the bigger ones while giving more features and a tad bit more gas friendly.

Hyundai and Kia have closed the gap quite a bit. i had a k5 as a rental recently and it was a darn fine sedan.

Sienna is a great vehicle. Open the back doors with the press of a button. Don't have to worry about how close the next vehicle is to you. It makes no logical sense why mini vans fell out of favor. They are superior to SUVs in regards to kids. I always thought it was women who made emotional decisions and worried about the look of things but the way so many men here are concerned about having the right SUV is just depressing. There must be too much estrogen in the water or something.

Looked at them a year ago because of the OT threads. I don’t think it looked that bad, the interior felt kind of cheap. I couldn’t bring myself to pay that much for a KIA.

My SO has one. She loves it. I really don't like it that much. Feels cheap compared to her older Grand Cherokee, and the infotainment system blows.

Friends have one. It's a nice car, for sure. I don't like the infotainment, at all.

Would suggest looking at an Acadia. Similar class, but more room and some better features.

Yeah they are nuts. that is why I said or truck. I only have two kids so a crew cab is fine. Add a bed cover and she has has plenty of room to haul groceries.
