for obvious reasons (no one likes a drug addict), but still. chrissy was in the field slanin iron frfr.

-set up and killed "email"
-whacked mikey palmice
-killed one of the two guys who almost killed him
-killed two of the robbers in the poker game
-whacked the former cop
-took out the two black guys who were going to kill carmine
-involved in massarone's death
-gave up his bitch for snitching

i hope chris was remembered in the sopranos universe as a valiant solider and not just a sniveling junkie.

That's what made him a more fleshed out character. Paulie was (mostly) a cardboard cutout. He had his moments with his aunt/mom, the psychic, etc., but for the most part he was drawn in 2 dimensions.

Chris had the Hollywood thing, he was juggling philandering with the drive to settle down (and was deeply conflicted). His substance problems (for which his coworkers had no patience) only compounded all of this.

But, as you say, he was a very effective enforcer and generally had good instincts (of course he needed some experience in some areas, particularly rackets) when it came to the physical, violent side of OC. He was also lucky in that regard, which always helps.

Shot a bakery counter-boy in the foot for disrespecting him.

i've been on this train forever.

Sil and Bobby don't get hit if Chris is organizing the Phil hit. Paulie passes it down to patsy and neither of them think to question if Phil speaks Ukrainian.

Tony was horrible boss

The older guys didn’t like him cause they were jealous that Tony was moving him up so fast. This was evident in the episode from season 4 “No Show.”

Yep, I bet Tony was regretting killing him once NY started going after his crew.

Killing Tim Daly for no reason in cold blood because he was drunk was fricked up.

That's when his character became Tommy.

No redeeming qualities.

Such a mixed bag with this guy. He was always questioning the Boss and often at the worst times and in front of the guys. So many breaches of protocol. And then the earlier days of acting in direct conflict with the family. I think he took for granted his personal relationship with Tony, to his detriment. He handled some good shite but was always an albatross.

Christopher's problem is that he was immature and not very intelligent. If he is not Tony's "nephew", there is no way a boss would make him a captain. Tony should have put down the Valachi Papers and read the Art of War.

Seriously, Chris giving up Adriana was possibly the biggest sacrifice made by anyone as far as the glorified crew was concerned. If Tony had a brain, he'd have known that Chris would have to turn back to drugs after making that crushing decision. Not sure what he could've done (send Chris away maybe).

Chrissy was one of the few guys Tony had to get shite done. Especially towards the end when it was down to Tony and a handful of old dudes, he was sorely missed as an enforcer.
