When I lived in Houston, I knew someone who was trying to be a professional distance cyclist. Her training schedule was brutal and she had little time for any other sides of her life.
When I read about that murder my first thought was,"where did she find the time?"

The murderer was not a professional cyclist. The victim was and the boyfriend is (was)

Austin PD is either clueless or just getting hammered by everyone for everything. You see them on the news nightly getting sued in court or explaining something away. I am shocked a city this big allows its PD get drug around so much.

I think it was for the murder but drafted it wrong or something. A lawyer could better speak to why the og warrant was incorrect

They behaved as the gestapo with little to no oversight for years.
I remember one time they detained a jogger for jaywalking then arrested her for not having ID or some such silliness.

the older warrant was for “theft of services” whatever that means and was unrelated to the murder.

Stealing cable electric etc is theft of services. Walking out of a restaurant is just theft or larceny

Going to be interesting when they dig up Colin’s texts w/ Armstrong after she entered the house.
His last text he shared…“Hey! Are you out? Went to drop some flowers for Alison at her son’s house up north and my phone died. Heading home unless you have another food suggestion” …as she was sitting outside the murdered girl’s house Colin was actually with.

There are a handful of other girls he cheated with that have no doubt gone into lockdown. Dude apparently lived in the DMs. Can see why he chose to be a big fish in a little pond.
