Just at a Meijer Superstore and Wal Mart in the past few days. Took a look at the baby aisle and the formula shelves were completely empty at both stores, in both liquid and powder. The lady stocking the shelves says they've been coming and going, but the product has been moving fast when it gets stocked.

There was a woman in the store, who was distraught and practically in tears because she couldn't get formula, and had been to 3 stores that morning. My wife is due in November, and she had issues with latching on our other kids, and had to supplement quite a bit with formula. Starting to look into making our own formula and stocking up.

My Son's first kid is due in late July. I keep telling him they need to be preparing for this problem.

Time to bring back wet nurses!

My wife (sorry, no pics ) had a friend (again , sorry , no pics) who made tons of extra milk. I was like, “just bring the baby over there to eat”. Wife said we don’t do that anymore. Hey, with this shortage …what’s old is new again.

Been out of the baby game for quite some time. What are infants eating if they’re off the boob and not yet on semi-solids?

Have not looked into it, but why is there a shortage of baby formula?

It's for real. I have a 6 month old in the family and they are driving to different towns/cities to look for the stuff.

Amazon

Even they can't keep up. We had a subscription for formula for our 6 month old through Amazon, and they couldn't fulfill it last month. We've had to change to a different brand.

I got the recipe if you need it. Moms back in the 50s and 60s used it quite often.

Washington is so damn disconnected from middle America it’s mind-boggling.
