You must have lost your papers allowing you to cross state lines.
You should be able to get replacements, comrade.

The separation of church and state was never to keep the church out of the state; rather, it was to keep the state out of church. It was never intended to keep people who work in the government from being able to show their religious side; it was to keep the government from telling the people how and whom they had to worship.

So, is the fetus part of the woman or not?
Yes
So, if I kick a pregnant woman in the stomach causing her to miscarry, I shouldn't be charged with murder of her child, correct?

Blur the line? Yes
Cross it? No

I'm sure "Thou shalt not murder" had no bearing on the laws against murder.
Let's put into reality what Pro-Abortion is about. It's about the radical Left wanting to keep Margret Sangers population control alive AND for lazy arse irresponsible women to have a form of birth control.
That's it.
So when the SCOTUS rules that all rulings are now moot, because nobody ever enacted a Federal Law granting abortion to be legal, it will rightfully go back to the State's to decide whether they want abortion or not.
Even is you remove religion, the majority of folks can see it's snuffing out a life unjustly for selfish reasons.

Do you have a link the the revised statute you are referring to?
quote:
Act 467, authored by former Sen. Ben Nevers, D-Bogalusa, and signed into law by former Democratic Gov. Kathleen Blanco, immediately takes effect if "a US Supreme Court decision reverses, in whole or in part, Roe v. Wade, or an adoption on of an amendment to the U.S. Constitution which, in whole or in part, restores to the state the authority to prohibit abortion."
Act 467 prohibits abortion, unless necessary to save the life of a mother, with no exceptions for rape or incest. The law would immediately end abortions at Louisiana's three abortion clinics: The Women's Health Care Clinic in New Orleans, Delta Clinic in Baton Rouge, and Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport

Not any more than a law against public nudity blurs the lines. You're not as dumb as the clown posting in this one; don't act like it just so you can be the contrarian.

Shhhhhhhh
Let him keep showing his arse.
Multiple people in this thread, including myself, already told him his definition of "separation of church and state" was wack.
He cited it and tried to explain it in the same post and managed to contradict himself at the same time.
I told him his reading comprehension skills sucked and he probably reread his post without finding error.

quote:No, it doesn't. That line is crossed when the state tells that Church what the Church is, or what the Church should or should not do as part of its role as the Church.
Does making abortion criminal blur the lines of church and state?
With that said, I believe only a biblical worldview can provide a consistent way to define what is "good" and what is "evil".

I agree that abortion is wrong and selfish. I also realize that my feelings about it are not strong enough that they override the person making that decision's.

And if you ask by trimester then after 3 months the support drops to under 20(8-18% depending on the poll used.
Killing a human without due process is frowned upon.

The opposite. While I believe abortion is wrong and should never been taken lightly, I also respect that these are my values and not everyone should be forced to adhere to them. As a guy I am not the authority on a womans pregnancy and women are in favor of pro-choice.

As it should be. But there is no basis for the 6 week louisiana heartbill bill that was passed. If strenuous exercise can be used to induce an intentional miscarriage at that stage how are we going to prosecute it as an abortion/homocide.

Yes. Because mainly those pesky church types are against killing 9 month old babies. Most everyone else is in favor of it.
The current pro Choicers aren't the same as they were 5 or 6 years ago. They've become so bloodthirsty that a lot of lifelong pro-choicers have become pro-life. I did. Few of my family members and friends did. Pro choice was never supposed to be about the blind support of snuffing out 9 month olds.

You think being against killing humans is "religious"? I guess atheists still don't have an answer for morality.
Posted on 5/6/22 at 3:42 pm to sgallo3
I’m just not a fan of letting babies get killed. Not really rocket science.

me either. I'm just against making reactionary laws based on my personal opinions on abortions that will be ambiguous and be enforced unfairly.
