Will Bech be used primarily as a slot receiver?

With Jenkins and Boutte out wide? Seems that would be pretty formidable.

"Power slot" I would imagine, which is basically like a TE who can't block inline, anyway. He should excel at that role.

I believe they have already said he will be the primary slot guy. Give him a few 7 yard slants matched up against a slow LB or undersized nickel and let him go to work. I can promise no 5’10 190 lb nickel is going to want much of that guy coming across the middle.

I know you have to get him on the field but it just seems that he is far too talented for this role. Bech is a #1 receiver on a team that had a clear #1 already.

Think Nabers wins the job over Jenkins. They’ll both play a ton though as well as Thomas

If he can take Jett’s stats and cut them in half he’ll still be great. Can be if QBs can play at half of Burrows stats. Bech can, QB?????

Power slots are a big thing in the NFL and highly productive. My label wasn't an insult.

I'm not sure if he can be a lead-boundary WR, but #1 WRs can play a power slot role primarily. The slot isn't the area for your 3rd options anymore. Cooper Kupp just set records as an almost exclusive slot receiver.

He proved last year he is a mismatch for the slow LB, and even some box safeties too that aren’t coverage guys.

I keep thinking about bech, nabers, and btj.

We need to enjoy them now cause they will probably only be here 3 years.

Have to take advantage of their talent now.

I think so. Why not play him there and have Jenkins out wide where his game plays?

Boutte is far and away the #1 receiver on this, or any, college team.

Nabors is another guy who is right there with Bech as a potential star at WR. This WR corps is up there with the best we've ever had.

Also, WTF do you mean too talented for "this role"? Was Gronkowski too talented for his role? Was Justin Jefferson too talented for his role?

They were working Mashburn out in slot according to 247. Seems odd.
