How does Alabama manage to fill their stadium every spring game? I genuinely asking, do they just promote it more?

They have a lot of events scheduled around the stadium as well as tours of the locker room, sideline passes, different level packages you can buy for pretty cheap. Also it’s a completely different set of people at A Day vs a regular game. That’s their one chance a year to go to a game due to price.

Basically more sidewalk fans are able to go than a normal game, so they do.

As long as it takes place in the middle of the day, it won’t be. It’s miserable sitting in that stadium at that time of day in late April.

Alabama fills its stadium because there is nothing else to do in Alabama.

Also, it’s practice. It’s the coaches’ jobs to evaluate practice, not mine. Wake me in September when they start playing games that count.

That might be too much credit. It's very obvious this is their one chance a year.

Last year I brought my 2 nephews to the spring game, then we went to the track meet after. They also had a baseball game going on at the box. The kids were happy to see all that stuff going on and solidified them as LSU fans.

My wife and I plan on going. Grandkids might come to depending on their baseball schedules

Not very. I have been to plenty of those things in the past when it used to be more like a real game. Until it turns back in to something more than a glorified practice I will continue to go only sporadically.

It'll probably be less than 80 degrees.

The high 3 days before is 77 degrees as of now and the pattern doesn't show any huge warmup anytime soon

That will be a welcome reprieve. I’ve been 4 times and 3 times people were falling out. The other time was called early due to lightning.

Spring Game is most irrelevant sports "event" at LSU.

Poor effort. Troll elsewhere. You're giving Lafourche a bad name.

It’s gonna be packed. Also, I have a feeling the game will go into OT.

Spring fishing in Louisiana is and always has been greater than LSU spring game. Along with crawfishing as well.

LSU doesn’t have a history of packing out spring games the way Georgia and Alabama do

In Louisiana there is more to life than football even though we love LSU football as much as anything. We have crawfish season, and all sorts of festivals. Our world does not completely revolve around LSU football.

This is always mentioned and it’s the dumbest take anyone could have. The state of Alabama has just as much going on if not more than the state of Louisiana.

Remind me again, where do tons of Louisiana residents choose to spend their vacations?

Plenty of pre-game tailgating but clear out soon after game starts to beat the traffic.

If they keep the spring game and the baseball game at the same time someone needs to be fired.
