How packed will the spring game be?

I know LSU doesn’t have a history of packing out spring games the way Georgia and Alabama do, but we’ve never had a new HC like Kelly take over.

I like to think there’s a lot more excitement than ever before among the fan base and many are eager to see Kelly’s product even in a spring game setting. Do we think the lower bowl will be full? I’m thinking about going. I’ve gone in the past under Miles and O and really didn’t enjoy either. But those were stale coaches and not first year guys.

I love when Bama does the running of the Gumps at its spring game—it’s one of the saddest and most entertaining things to see.

Not packed at all. I’d think about the same as usual. There’s excitement for LSU football every year, but there’s also usually a lot of stuff happening on a spring Saturday

All the LSUAD has to do is move the "Game" to night and the attendance will double or triple.

Haven't they heard? LSU fans don't like football in the day time hours in PIMger Stadium.

Maybe have the game against an LSU Football Alumni team to spark interest.

won't it be on TV. I have been a few times and they are pretty boring.

I have gone to a good amount. I won't be able to make it down from Georgia this year but when I always enjoyed watching them compete. You get a look at the young players for the first time and get a chance to see minor adjustments that were made to improve. Not sure if it will be on TV but I would expect it to be.

How does Alabama manage to fill their stadium every spring game? I genuinely asking, do they just promote it more?

Most gumps don't own TVs yet, so the only chance they have to watch it is to see it in person.

Woodward should move the baseball game or spring game to another time slot so there is not a time conflict. This is just common sense. If you do you're going to get a big part of the fan base that will attend both.

The record attendance for LSU spring football was in 2008, 33,624 attended.
