Why is BR getting stuff but New Orleans isn't?

Because if you bought one in NOLA, it would come with bullet holes and a homeless guy that stabs you as you try and pick up your car.

Is this still happening?

Reported this past week ….poor earnings reports and investors bailed etc.
Probably not going to happen.

Why exactly would you want one of those? What a waste of space.

It takes up less room than a parking lot of used cars would

And it’s BR were talking about. Wasting space is the least of our worries.

I sold my last car to Carvana. It was the easiest process I could imagine, and they gave thousands more than local dealerships and other online buyers.

Would I buy from them? Unsure. But selling was a great experience.

Which is why they are circling the drain.

Carvana isn't actually a car dealer - in reality they're a sub-prime auto lender and one of the most fraudulent companies that has ever existed.
Not surprising because the guy running it was convicted of bank fraud back in the early 1990's. They literally loose money on every vehicle they sell and will not be around much longer.

Yes I remember post Covid them laying off a large amount of staff via email/teams.

If I recall it was thousands.

Perhaps the high demand, low inventories, and increased pricing has helped their margins.

What's the status of Carvana coming to BR, because by the looks of things it appears Carvana may go bankrupt fairly soon.

THEY'VE NEVER MADE MONEY!

They are one of those "tech / online" companies that investors flocked to, dumping all kinds of money into...their stock was close to $300 just a year ago. They are a disrupter in the car sales market with their completely online experience, pushing other companies to adapt. But ultimately their processes are/were inefficient and I'm betting they will be gone by this time next year.

This will never happen. That company is on the verge of shutdown any day now.
