Inaccurate.
We’ve been DEFCON 3 multiple times, and the only one that resulted in the United States entering a large scale conflict was 9/11.

ETA: The entire armed forces aren't uniform in their DEFCON stance. There are units in Europe that are at higher level stances than in mainland US right now and they've gone up recently. I'll leave it at that.

You're overreacting to this. There are steps we have to take when a nuclear threat is presented, it is purely precautionary.

This is where I am at. After looking at the state of some of their equipment I can’t see much of an arsenal of hyper sonic missiles. I’m sure they may have the technology but a full on ready and waiting arsenal......not so much.
