Unfortunately the US military doesn't seem to have the DEFCON system available to the masses. I found this though. No idea how legit it is.

The current defcon level overall is now at Defcon level 2. DEFCON 3 is pretty meh based on descriptions of each level. I would expect the US Military to be ready to go when a World Power starts a war with an ally.
