Specifically semiconductors...

If you were looking to buy a new Ford Bronco anytime soon, it’s best you look away. Thousands of the new SUVs are currently sitting outside Ford’s Michigan Assembly plant, all because of the global semiconductor shortage, according to Automotive News.

This lot has actually been home to stranded Broncos before when they had hardtop issues. It was then known as “Dirt Mountain.” A few months and a ton of snow later, the lot was re-christened “Ice Mountain.”

When those parts come in, be prepared to barter..
Side note: I get the cheap parts thing, but this is what happens when you depend on foreign countries.

I contacted a dealer about special ordering a F350 and was told to expect 6-8 months…

When I went past Kentucky Speedway over the late summer, Ford stuffed every parking lot available there with incomplete F150s. Evey parking spot and driveway was bumper to bumper and door to door with them. It was unreal to see.

Those hardtops fixed, or are they leaking through.

put my reservation in 19 months ago. I will be lucky to get it by the end of the year

How can Ford keep building all these vehicles they can sell for months or even years? No way they remain profitable in this mess
Once the semi conductor issue is fixed There will be a ton of new vehicles 2 or more years old sold by dealers for real cheap, as the new models will be out by then.

The demand will still be there so dealers can sell above MSRP.

Seems like we’ve been in this shortage for two plus years now. Why haven’t we caught up?

That’s where those Kia Soul knock offs belong

It can’t be good mechanically for them to sit this long can it?
