Scotlandville win also likely moves them up to the 2 seed instead of 3.

This all day. Anyone that says that is 100% either way is biased or at the least fooling themselves.

That's before Shaw gets their 1pt for winning district.

Shot was a little before the horn. No way you wave that off.

How much time was left on the clock when the free throw was missed?

I had heard 1.1… I know it’s in the rules( or referred to during games)what players are expected to be able to do with different tenths on the clock, like 0.3 for a catch and shoot, etc.

Credit goes to that kid for showing restraint and waiting to gather that ball.

I think he got it off. But the dribble is what got him.

couple of points

the C (center) position (in a FT the C is opposite the table) reff is responsible for the clock and the ruling but it is likely the Trail reff (white guy) had the better view because he was looking up the floor behind the action and could see the whole play, but it is not his call

the C official ruled immediately no good, which is correct mechanically

then two of the officials got together, C and Trail, and it looked like the Trail wanted no part of it

that is a tough spot to be in, but the reff was decisive and clear in his ruling

in real time on the court you are supposed to use the horn or red light as indicator and not the numbers on the board, this is a tough one

Clock should have started when he touched the rebound, then he dribbled once, set and shot. 1.1 very close. Tough call for refs. Maybe clock was started a tad late...who knows.
