Yes, their salads are damn good. Burgers, wraps etc are good. Walkons gets shite on here for their food and I don’t know why. It’s not 4 star dining, but it doesn’t claim to be. It’s a spots bar. It serves food you find in a sports bar. If you want an epicurean experience go somewhere else. If you want a decent lunch or a few beers after work or to watch the game, it’s fine.

I like the one by LSU. Usually you get very good service and they have some very good items to choose from,

I wish they had nachos and some good pizza.

why Walk-On's relocating to Atlanta is a bad omen
It's not that it's an omen. LA being shitty for business isn't something that's looming on the horizon. It's another reminder of the current (past and future), sad state of affairs here.

It went from Macon to Monroe then Monroe to Atlanta almost a 100 years ago. Is that better?

This is a University food-court environment, so the waitresses don't show anything.

I'm mostly interested in whether I should risk a shrimp po-boy, or if I do will it suck and I'll blame TD for letting it get out of BR. I'd hate to have to put y'all on a list.

And their corporate office is badass. I would never get any work done if that was where I worked.

Heck, South Mississippi is seeing a lot of Louisiana folks buying houses here. They used to buy fish camps, now they are buying homes. Why deal with mandates, when they can move to the beach and not deal with them?

Why Atlanta and not Houston?

Georgia is going blue and taxes will slowly creep upwards.

Same with me. Biomedical Engineering isn't exactly a sector Louisiana has jobs in. Moved to Tennessee for my PhD in 2004 and haven't left since.

Its black hollywood. the wealth of the blacks there dwarfs baton rouge.

Atlanta has long been known as a center of black wealth, higher education, political power and culture; a cradle of the Civil Rights Movement and the home of Martin Luther King Jr. It has often been called a "black mecca".

According to a 2015 study by NerdWallet, the Atlanta area is home to about 2.1 million black owned businesses which is the highest in the nation.

Yeah that's why Chic fil a, Home Depot, Coke, etc are all based in ATL.

I've been to ATL a few times and its not really a bad city at all.
