Yes, their salads are damn good. Burgers, wraps etc are good. Walkons gets shite on here for their food and I don’t know why. It’s not 4 star dining, but it doesn’t claim to be. It’s a spots bar. It serves food you find in a sports bar. If you want an epicurean experience go somewhere else. If you want a decent lunch or a few beers after work or to watch the game, it’s fine.
I like the one by LSU. Usually you get very good service and they have some very good items to choose from,
I wish they had nachos and some good pizza.

why Walk-On's relocating to Atlanta is a bad omen

It went from Macon to Monroe then Monroe to Atlanta almost a 100 years ago. Is that better?

I'm mostly interested in whether I should risk a shrimp po-boy, or if I do will it suck and I'll blame TD for letting it get out of BR. I'd hate to have to put y'all on a list.

Well yeah, this is the right answer.

Walk Ons is a great sports bar and they are one of the leaders for LSU in NIL

And their corporate office is badass. I would never get any work done if that was where I worked.

Heck, South Mississippi is seeing a lot of Louisiana folks buying houses here. They used to buy fish camps, now they are buying homes. Why deal with mandates, when they can move to the beach and not deal with them?

The fried shrimp platter is better than the PO boy.

Why Atlanta and not Houston?
Georgia is going blue and taxes will slowly creep upwards.

I'm very thankful they funded my engineering degree as a stepping stone to my life in Tennessee.
Same with me. Biomedical Engineering isn't exactly a sector Louisiana has jobs in. Moved to Tennessee for my PhD in 2004 and haven't left since.

But this board told me that Atlanta was just a bigger version of Baton Rouge.
Its black hollywood. the wealth of the blacks there dwarfs baton rouge.

Well yeah.
Lots of bee styles of restaurants have failed in BR.

How many black businesses were hurt when the All Star game was moved?

Yeah that's why Chic fil a, Home Depot, Coke, etc are all based in ATL.
I've been to ATL a few times and its not really a bad city at all.
