Watching Tombstone again on AMC for the hundredth time. Got me to thinking about my favorite Western characters.
Gus McCrae - Lonesome Dove
Doc Holiday - Tombstone
Josey Wales
Tell Sackett - The Sacketts
Have to include some honorable mentions from 2 of my favorite Westerns
Jeremiah Johnson
Cole Younger - The Long Riders
Who you got?

Clint Eastwood as William Munny in Unforgiven
Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone
The other two spots I am not sure of.

Kilmer’s Doc Holliday is too much of a pretty boy for me. Dude looked like he moisturized and he dressed like he was in a western fashion show.
I prefer grittier characters. Replace him with Al Swearingen.

For those that may have not seen some of the Terence Hill old Spaghetti Westerns.

Lee Marvin needs to be on there somewhere for Kid Shelleen.
Eastwood's Man with No Name.
Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes
John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn.
