this could wind up being a big problem; especially with the "leadership" we have right now...

China and Russia proclaimed a deep strategic alliance on Friday to balance what they portrayed as the malign global influence of the United States as China's President Xi Jinping hosted Russia's Vladimir Putin on the opening day of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
In a joint statement, the two countries affirmed that their new relationship was superior to any political or military alliance of the Cold War era.
"Friendship between the two States has no limits, there are no 'forbidden' areas of cooperation," they declared, announcing plans to work together in a host of areas including space, climate change, artificial intelligence and control of the Internet.

The scope of this work is to help Western counties self inflict economic wounds that will stifle production.

So who's the wife in this arrangement?

This is what Biden and the DEMS want. A mega scary foe to get the votes!

Good luck to them, they'll need it. The last time they tried this it didn't work so well.
Also, Russia is all talk. Yeah they can invade Ukraine because they are 100x larger, but China is going to have to prop them up at some point.
Congrats, China, you just bought a boat anchor.

They get along like Biden voters and non-retarded people do.

I'll believe it when I see it. Those two countries currently and have history hated each other.

And there it is. They’ve been ramping up their joint military exercises so this isn’t a shock. The West better figure stuff out quickly. I fear that if they’re truly serious and if we can’t get our shite together with a seriousness and quickness than we just lost. Russia owns Europe because of the energy component and we’ve sold our manufacturing base to China.
I don’t know if anyone has seen it but even the Norks have started back up with their missile launches and Iran has joined in with the Russian and China military exercises.

That's exactly why they mentioned it. Because they are going to do NOTHING about climate change and the West will turn the gun on themselves.

Putin fell asleep when Ukraine national team began their March.
He is soooo scared.

Sigh. These turds never learn. You don’t form a 2/3 country authoritarian alliance and start a world war then expect to win against the rest of the world.
Let them push themselves into a corner. Eventually the adults will be back in charge here at home and we will overcome.

You think one administration can change an entire cultural shift in the west with self induced cuts across its wrist?

This. Russia is mostly broke and their military hardware is mostly Cold War era and outdated. They will be to China what Italy was to Nazi Germany

That's certainly ripe for backfire, if that's their strategy. The last thing the country would want/need is a senile President trying to feeble his way through a world crisis....

Title should be, Russia, China, and the Democrat party unite against USA.
When have the democrats been opposed to China or Russia?

That’s not actually true.
Russia has the smallest balance sheet of any major power. And large reserves.
The last year has been particularly good, economically, because the prices of mineral resources have increased so much.
Sanctions in some ways have actually helped, by encouraging domestic industries.
Russia is an underdeveloped country though, and ordinary people are often quite poor.
As far as military hardware goes. Their procurement system actually works better than ours. They play their defense contractors off against each other, to reduce costs, and ensure projects are delivered in a timely fashion. They’re also frugal, pursue iterative upgrades, and are quick to cancel projects that don’t deliver.
Over the last four years they’ve completely overhauled their land forces. I assume that’s true of their Aerospace forces, but that’s not something I’ve followed.
Their Navy is still in mixed shape, the submarine fleet is okay, but their surface fleet isn’t.
The decay in know how at the shipyards was a major problem.
The navy has always been the lowest priority. That was true under the Soviets as well.
