He released an album. Not dropped it.

When middle aged white people who never spent a day of their life in the hood and have zero black "friends" appropriate hip hop slang, it bothers me. I don't know why. There's no reason for it to bother me, it just does.

Giving "props"
Giving a "shoutout"
Having "beef" with someone
"Drop" an album as said above, "drop" some knowledge, "drop" the mic, etc

Bussin as in "Wow, that sauce is bussin!! Can I get the recipe?"

The origins of "bussin" are not clear, but it has roots in the Black community as a way to compliment delectable food. It became popular on social media, particularly on TikTok, in the early-2020s.;

My daughter said this all the kids are saying it now. Never heard this before in my life

“With that being said”

Lazy arse way to begin a sentence. It also makes Bobby Hebert even more unlistenable. SOB begins every sentence with either “Listen, Listen, Listen” or “with that being said.”

No matter how long it has been since a certain something happened, people will say, “It’s been a minute.” I fricking hate that damn saying. No! It has not been a minute! It has been a few days or a few years. F off!!!!

As someone who can’t stand the “urbanization” of the mainstream English language, I have to catch myself from using this all the time. That’s on me.

Mine is “feel some type of way”.

I hear fricking educated people say “feel some type of way” and act like they shouldn’t be rubbing there hands together and licking their lips in the beginning of a god awful R&B music video.

I also hate how people use “____ 2.0” to just mean “the next thing that is of the same ilk”. It means “new and improved”. If you say “Jamaar Chase is Jerry Rice 2.0” you are claiming that he is the next evolution of Rice lol
