LINK
There is video in the link of the Peace Officer telling the story as it appears on video (he is the office involved in the video). This little nazi is sick and if I was the family, I would have bitch slapped her for involving herself in my loved ones funeral for political purposes

As you may already beware, a peace officer was recently killed while serving in the line of duty in Harris County (Houston), Texas. Like many recent police officer deaths, this was the result of a massive spike in the national crime wave caused in part by progressive criminal justice policies.
At the funeral for Corporal Charles Galloway Judge Lina Hidalgo, an elected official who proudly "championed" bond reform, used the occasion to disrespect the fallen officer and prop up her political career. This happened despite the wishes of the fallen officer's family.
Our friends at KTRH and the National Fraternal Order of Police put a video together to detail specifically what happened

Maybe she figured they may need translation services, since that was her lone qualification prior to being judge

They couldn’t say what she did in the article ?

It’s a 6 minute video explaining what happened from the point of view of the office involved.
The video is a narration of the event showing Lena placing herself into the ceremony, when the family didn’t want her there. He is explaining what he is telling the judge during the event. She is disgusting

Thanks for the heads-up. She is a sick pud. If she wins re-election, the county is finished. She couldn't be more inept and corrupt.

She’s a judge with zero legal experience if I recall .

If she wins re-election, we are moving out of Harris County.
Her and Turner will get exactly what they want.

County judges in TX are similar to a Parish President in Louisiana or county commissioner in other states. They don’t need to be barred attorneys with a legal background to hold the office. I believe a very large number of county judges are not attorneys. There are a few very minor judicial procedures they can perform such as presiding over misdemeanors, some civil cases, and probate.
Otherwise, they mostly act as the CEO of the county.

A couple of things...
Anyone good running against her?
How did she become the top judge, being so new on the court?

She rode the "blue wave" into office unseating a long time bipartisan "judge".
Also where 10 zealot black judges won as well then posed for a photo like it was a mafia.

I have to say this is pretty disgusting behavior.
This should be extensively covered by the Houston press.
But Democrat, so she is fine.

So, is there video of her remarks?

The Cliffs are she:
- Chose to stand with a group of people that had a role in the ceremony despite being directed several times to sit in her assigned seat with other dignitaries.
- She dropped a “Do you know who I am?” to the person attempting to guide her to her ceremonial place.
- Rather than give condolences to the family before or after the ceremony, she chose a moment to approach the family when she would be most visible to others giving her condolences.

He should’ve arrested her. She was disturbing the peace and being disorderly.

Her position as "judge" has nothing to do with the legal system. County Judge is sort of like Parish President. Dora is a little girl with no business in that office, but her lack of legal background has nothing to do with it.

She had never held office and was put up against a Republican everyone likes, Ed Emmett and no one expected her to win. She won because of straight ticket voting, mostly against Ted Cruz in the city of Houston. Nobody even really knew her name. Pretty much because of this single event, we no longer have straight ticket voting in Texas.
