Jacobys family turned his recruitment into a bidding war after he left LSUs campus and we lost. This is a fact.

Sad as frick that his family is relying on their 17 year old kid for financial stability lol.

The whole neighborhood will be his family now. Many a hand will be reaching out.

I just don’t get it. If he came to LSU and didn’t make the NFL LSU would help him get a great job. Good luck to the young man.

if you’re from Louisiana, and go play for LSU, you’re set for life. I know this for a fact.

It’s pathetic
Families whoring out their kids as cash cows.

Going to be interesting to see how these unsophisticated nouveau riche families handle their sudden fortunes

Most of these people don’t consider “jobs” as important.

Money...$450k is not stability, even for him...mama gets a Lexus, he gets a charger, some jewelry, maybe they pay off the mortgage, but I doubt it

I really don't see the problem with getting fat cat boosters from different schools to bid against each other.
This is just the way it is right now. As fans, it's not fun to watch, but I'm not about to throw stones at, and make assumptions about people I don't know. For all we know Jacoby wasn't 100% on LSU anyway and his family just said, if it's close, just take whoever pays you the most and transfer if you don't like it.

This is my thing. It's fine if you leave the state, just don't come back. You have nothing here waiting for you.

Pay off mortgage? Yeah right, that money will be spent in a week. Cars clothes and bling bling

You mean the old neighborhood? With the money he is supposedly getting, I’m sure his family will be moving to College Station where they’ll be living and mooching off of him for the next 3 years and then if/when he gets in the NFL and signs that contract they’ll be living and mooching off of that where ever he lives. It’s pathetic!

Sad truth is that he will likely walk away from C-Stat with seeing less than a quarter of if.
