Do you idiots even watch football? Or did you overhear somebody talking to the cashier at dollar general?

So we shouldn’t have paid our 25 year old top 10 CB?

the only bad contract I'll agree with you is Peat
Posted on 1/29/22 at 8:36 am to Hotrod504
3/4 of those are some of the most valuable players on the whole team

Payton is the head coach, he doesn't build the roster and give out contracts. This isn't college.

Yeah, some poor bastard is gonna inherit one of the best rosters in the league. The only weakness is a former #1 overall pick at QB who is desperate to get back to relevancy in the league.

The biggest weakness (that I don’t see how we can address effectively this off-season is Guard).

-Fringe playoff team with starting QB and WR out all year, injuries/china flu
-bad shape
pick one

One thing I am curious about is did Payton have an indication that him leaving was a possibility when he threw out the idea of Hill’s extension?

and yet y'all are dying to have him be y'alls coach... so... why?

I made a thread about being irrationally mad and melting about Payton leaving us with the albatross that is Taysom Hill and his contract

Everyone and I mean everyone on here said it was bad when we agreed to it after. It was dumb.
It TA leaves, maybe we get use of him if he slides over to LT. He’s been decent there.

I’m not sure old hot rod ever stepped foot on a college campus….

Bad shape?
I'll list players that you don't think the rest of league might want
Kamara, Thomas, Ramcyzk, Mccoy, Armstead*, Jordan, Onyemata, Davenport, Davis, Kwon*, Werner, Lattimore, Adebo, Roby*, Williams*, Jenkins
We still have plenty of young talent to develop that could be added to that list Calloway, Trautman, Ruiz, Turner
Basically our entire defense is stacked with household names and NFL starters for most NFL franchises
Our offense has some holes but we have picks and cap flexibility
I'd hardly consider the Saints situation the dire straits
