There really isn't a coach in the NFL/College ranks that is a sure thing. We have been lucky having Payton/Brees since 2006.

I probably would be fine with keeping DA. At this point, if he is a HC level candidate elsewhere, why not? Our defense was absolutely elite this year, might as well try to keep that together.

This situation is totally different. Payton’s system would remain in place with Carmichael taking over completely
