Enabling bad behavior is what gave birth to the criminal element, and enabling bad behavior is what causes it to flourish.
Don’t think there’s no devious agenda behind this either. It plays to humanities worst attributes, laziness, apathy, immorality, and deliberate irresponsibility. The net result from this will eventually be the destruction of this country from top to bottom. It’s what has happened to all great societies. Take your pick throughout history, and you’ll find that to be true. The biggest problem as i see it though is those who know better didn’t speak up, and for whatever reason were silenced and intimidated into not speaking up for fear of being seen as the heavy, the meanie, or much worse.

This is all right wing propaganda. There is no crime problem in this country because my block is perfectly fine

Why depend on the police? If someone is stealing your shite people need to start shooting back. Cops never really do much about theft anyway.
I remember when I was a teenager someone broke into our shop (a big shed my dad did woodwork in). My mom got up and heard them in the backyard. When grab her gun and when they heard her open the door they took off running in the field that was behind our house.. She took a shot to scare the shite out of them.
They dropped most of the shite they stole running, probably when they heard the gunshot... Except her bike. She called the police.. They told her "next time don't shoot at them, call us and let us take care of it". She told the cop if someone is stealing something she is shooting first then calling the police.
The next day she saw the dude on her bike when she was going somewhere. She called the police and told them and they asked if she had the serial number. She said she didn't, but they are the police could they go question him or something. They told her they couldn't anything. She followed the dude on the bike. Dude was going to the grocery store. When he went inside, she went get the bike, but it in back of the truck and left. Called the police to tell them not to worry about it, she did their job for them.
They told her she just admitted to stealing a bike and to pretend the call didn't happen (the bike had a small black mark, which she checked for before taking the bike. It was hers).
The point of that story is.. You can't depend on the police to handle everything. I guarantee you private citizens could do a better joke stopping crime than what the police do.
But here are some crime numbers in the US since 1960 for yall disastercenter.com

Read some dumbass liberal blaming it on guns. It’s the fact that they don’t punish these criminals and want to defund the police.

This is the logical result when you deball your police force. Much of the south has resisted this but now is the time to get out of any large population center if you can. It will only get worse.

First we saw local mayors and local politicians throw the void under the bus. Some eventually announced that we need to defund the police and let communities police themselves.
We saw riots all across the country, and the authorities just let it happen. Thugs, gang members and punks saw that they could violate the law with impunity and nothing would happen.
Lawmakers themselves picked laws they wanted enforced and ignored the others. The cops were instructed to ignore petty crime and we saw 900 dollar smash and grabs and stealing 900 dollars or less become rampant.
Police became a four letter word and people wonder why crime is out of control.

Man, where do you guys live? I haven’t locked my doors except when on vacation in years. The worst crime my family has experienced is 2 eggs on my car one morning and someone stole some change out of my husbands car.
