Clemson supposedly going after WW

Jordy was going off on last nights game and mentioned Clemson will most likely make an attempt at tPear. He is going to get very expensive now…

It is his alma mater, but given the current state of the ACC moving forward, as well as what he has built at LSU he would probably stay at LSU. The thing that will probably decide it all is which team promises and shows they committed to actually building what he wants in terms of facilities. He already recruits at an extremely high level, but he has been held back by hit piece after hit piece and then when the roof leaks and you have to adjust how you practice he may listen now.

He deserves a nice raise. If Wade thinks going to Clemson is a good idea then I don’t know what to say. Alma mater or not he knows that job has a way lower ceiling than LSU

Did Jordy go off on why with 3 minutes left and down by 7 we ran a play that consisted of Eric Gaines dribbling behind the 3 point line then throwing up a shot without making a single pass?

Jordy would never do anything to compromise his access. He’s a phony arse kisser and always has been. Look at his behavior with Orgeron over the years as proof.

I think given the choice Wade wants to continue building his program at LSU (he, again, has some highly ranked recruits signed for next season). He's likely just trying to leverage LSU in to an extension and the improvements in the facilities for which he has been fighting for years.
Woodward went all in on a huge hire in WBB, a sport that will never operate in the black no matter how successful they are. So if you are going to make such a huge commitment to WBB. It stands to reason you will make a big commitment to the MBB program, of which there can be some overlap on facilities upgrades.

To a small degree you aren't that far off.
But, you pay for what you think a coach is going and will continue to do. That is the true essence of why you extend or give a coach a raise. You should make the argument of why WW isn't going to do anything in the future rather past. His trajectory is heading in the correct direction. Our program is seeming to be on the cusp...

He came to LSU over Clemson when he left VCU. Both offered him.
