People who ask blindly ask you to press the button for their floor on the elevator

Is everyone so accustomed to handouts and general apathy that they just expect you to complete this task for them?
I was on an elevator just now and a man got on at one of the stops, doesn’t even look at me, then grunts what floor he wants. Do I look like a fricking doorman? (InB4 probably)
I didn’t oblige him and he missed his stop. Don’t even feel bad. How pathetic do you have to be to just assume someone will do this for you?

If you are in front of the buttons it takes a true a-hole to act like you did

I never do it because it’s a tactic that hit men use to make the ride longer, which gives them time to kill you without leaving their fingerprints in the elevator. Smart really.

It's much easier and more polite than saying, "MOVE ASIDE YOU F*CKING LARD A$$ so I can press the button for my floor."

Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays...

Should've hit his floor button, and all of the other ones too. That'll teach him.

OP sounds like a miserable person

This will not age well. You deserve the stairs, a-hole

That sounds like the paranoia my wife would use.
Always skeptical of people.
Doesn't trust anyone.
Can't blame her, though. She was born in New Orleans.

I was the only one on the elevator and standing at the back. Dude looked like he needed to take the stairs anyway

Why don't you just walk next time, man.

Politeness =/= handouts.
It's folks that ignore consideration for their fellow man and politeness, that has truly made this country a shittier place to live.

i don't have as much a problem with this as i do with the folks who charge the elevator door instead of letting the people get out of the elevator.

You're still just 2nd tier a-hole. 1st rate assholery is pressing one floor off intentionally and seeing if they take the bait.

Those people deserve to die in a tragic elevator malfunction.
Or at least some sort of disfigurement.

It’s people who think they deserve politeness and favors and then get butthurt feelings when they don’t get what they want. That’s why this country is soft as baby fat
No one owes you shite. Do it yourself.
