Does this mean anyone that takes medicare/aid?
Yup.
I haven’t read the opinion - but I’m assuming that it’s BC Roberta and Kav split the baby by saying that the statutory purpose of Medicare/ Medicaid was somehow furthered by requiring a useless shot.
I hate that the decision was based on a statutory ground. To me - the government mandating any kind of medical treatment (which is all these shots are - advance medical treatment that may or may not work), is a violation of the 4th Amendment and other constitutional privacy concerns.
Full stop.
This decision is dangerous and does nothing to stop the government overreach in this area. A perfect non-decision. Just like Roberta likes it.

Kavanaugh was a huge mistake. He portrayed himself as a Conservative Constitutionalist. He is neither.
Kavanaugh never said he was a conservative. He is an originalist. There's a difference and if you like the COnstitution, an originalist is generally preferred.

Kind of agree with it in a healthcare setting. Don't have a problem with it.
Yeah but the shot does not keep one from catching The CCP Virus. It doesn't make sense. They get the shot, catch it, go home and get over it in a few days.
They don't get the shot, catch The CCP Virus, take Ivermectin and whatever, go home get over it in a few days. What am I missing?

The mandate is not dead. It just can’t be enforced until the 6th circuit court of appeals can hear the case and make a decision.
actually, it's until a writ of certiorari is denied should the petitioners not prevail at the 6th and they seek relief from the SCOTUS (and those 6 justices have pretty much told the 6th Circuit what their thinking it on this)

On the OSHA mandate (6-3):
Kavinaugh, Roberts, and Barret form the majority opinion.
Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch have a concurring opinion.
Sotomayor, Breyer, and Kagan with the dissent.
On the HHS mandate (5-4):
Kavinagh, Roberts, Sotomayor, Breyer, and Kagan with the majority.
Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barret with the dissent.

So they just stopped this one particular thing and not the whole concept?

Does this apply to government contractors?
No, the SCOTUS hasn't heard a case yet for federal contractors. It's a little late now seeing as unless you filed for an exemption, you would've already had to take your shots.

I scanned the opinion and listened to most of the oral arguments.
What is SHOCKING to me is that there was no discussion on whether the shots even F*CKING WORK?
How can you issue an opinion or conduct oral arguments without taking this into consideration?
The Nazis declared Jews to be a national security risk, but the Nuremburg trials convicted several judges because they just accepted that at face value.
But, here, they just took it as a given that these worthless f*cking poisons were completely f*cking safe and effective. And, they did this despite healthy people all over the world dying from getting this f*cking poison put in their bodies.
UNF*CKINGBELIEVEABLE.

Only for employees of health care providers who accept Medicare/Medicaid. So, you know, it still comes down to money.
