According to this Business Insider article, Djokovic has natural immunity for the original, and either the Delta or Omicron strain of COVID, and has had time to quarantine from his last infection so he’s not a danger to others.

Doesn’t matter. The government wants shots in every arm and they’re about to put Djokovic out of the country because he hasn’t had them.

The point isn’t to immunize anybody, or to stop spread.

The point all of the world governments is to punish resistance to their authoritarian actions.

I’d like to see him and that other fellow that was detained for noncompliance just back out of the tourney completely. Yes I know he was granted a pass by the Aussie judge, but there comes a time when one just has to put on the same suit as their aggressors. Get petty. F it. After all, “They go low, and we kick em,” isn’t that how it goes?

I could see him saying to hell with the Australian open this year and going forward.

For those who don't know, Joker is very well versed on diet and health principals, moreso than 99% of athletes. He knows there is more than smoke going on with the clot shot. I would say there is a 0% chance he caves to the pressure. He does not bend one ounce when it comes to his health. A Grand Slam be damned.

I thought I had heard he got a medical exemption but wasn't sure if it was for the Aus open. My guess is the government will cave on this one. USTA or whatever tennis association will threaten to pull the Australian Open from the Grand Slam events if they go through with this. If they have a spine, which is a huge if.

It is not about the health or welfare of the population. It is about the government asserting its control. Once they can mandate a vaccine and enforce compliance, then they can do whatever they want.

The point is to make Moderna and Pfizer and their stock holders a bunch of money.

Everyone should look into which stocks are most held by members of the government.

What a sickening interview. Western governments and their likenesses(Australia) are filled with self serving tyrants and drones. Anyone with any kind of integrity would have refused any order to call Novak to relay this kind of idiocy.

When you elect women en masse to your governments, this is the direction that your government starts to go.

He shouldn't give Australia the honor to have the record broken there. Get the F out.

If for some reason anyone hasn't read "The Gulag Archipelago," it will clear all this up.

Why would the Australian Govt want to die on this hill? He's just a tennis pro. They are that afraid of natural immunity?

They have gone full draconian on COVID. So, it probably doesn't play well with a tripple jabbed person who has been cooped up in an apartment for two years and can't see his family in another territory that this guy gets to waltz in and do what he pleases.

Djokovic and all these other tennis players need to boycott this tournament until the Aussie govt decides to stop being a bunch of tyrants. Country has turned into China.

That should be on their government and not Djokovic.

I mean, look at several nations across the globe. They’re getting along just fine. But yeah, blame one tennis player for potentially killing an entire country’s populace. LOL.

Or just maybe, Australia has overplayed their hand.

The tennis federation should pull out of that country entirely.
