My own living room. Since it was a work/school night, everyone at the party left at halftime, so I was pretty much by myself. Family went to bed, kids were young.
My dad had died Dec. 1, 2001, so he missed the kick-arse Sugar Bowl against Illinois (my cuz took me to the game, he worked the field for Agrekko). Then, there was this game, and he wasn't here, and I cried all over again.

I was the soberist drunk guy in the quarter that day.
I found out that my cousin, who was 4 months older than me, had passed away while on a trolly car on my way to the quarter. I'm pretty sure that everyone else on the trolly thought I was on some bullshite. I tried to kill the thoughts with alcohol but did not accomplish that goal.
