Saban Retirement?

Heard Saban is going to retire after this game from an Alabama student in the athletic program. Anybody else hear anything? Probably just same old rumors, but given his age, why wouldn't he go out on top if he wins the game? GOAT.

He wins a title almost every other year, so it's not like this is some once in a lifetime moment for him.
He'll be "on top" at least half a dozen more times if he coaches another ten years.

Saban is known for confiding in student workers

Or he might have a heart attack.

If Saban plans to retire the only person he would've confided in is Mrs. Terry.
And he probably called it rat poison when she commented on what he just told her.

Saban not dumb he knows the LSU title wave that is coming

It’s not out of the realm of possibility. Other schools with the same or more money can now legally pay the players he would have illegally paid over the past few years. It has really changed the game and his competitive advantage of cheating is now gone. Might as well go out on top before he has to reinvent himself again.

I would just rather him wait until A&M gets hammered for the recruiting violations.

Saban is definitely one of greatest coaches in college football history, and arguably the best - but he’s essentially Barry Bonds.

What does Tigerbait1977 think?
Posted on 1/3/22 at 8:51 pm to Tig321
It’s possible - I doubt he wants to keep spending his twilight years of his life living in Gumpland.

Saban is never retiring. He is here to stay and haunt us.
He will coach at least another 10 years.

Why do you weirdos call his wife “Mrs. Teri”?
Just call the lady Teri

Because that's what Saban calls her. He probably spells it correctly though.

Saban retires when he expires. Prolly at his desk.

Let’s go over the Saban rumors since going to Bama:
“He’ll take the Michigan job”
“He wants to coach the Cowboys”
“He’s heading to Texas”
I’m sure there’s more
