FYI
Name the link (The Blaze) instead of just Link

CTE and white supremacy are the popular and corporate-media-approved explanations given any time a professional football player, particularly a black one, behaves poorly. They’re bogus excuses that ignore the fact that bigotry and head trauma in sports have been around since gladiators fought lions for the entertainment of the masses.

If CTE is real and the cause of unstable behavior, then Spartacus, Bronko Nagurski, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Walter Payton, and Joe Montana should all have melted down.

It's refreshing to read an intelligent, contrarian opinion.
Hats off to Whitlock.

Saying it's a Jason Whitlock article isn't enough?

So AB just needs to play for an offense that simplifies the formations.
Got it.

This is dismissive to the point of absurdity.
There are probably 30 different things that contribute to the way AB behaves. CTE is likely not an insignificant slice of that pie.

There's a European psychologist who's name escapes me that originally brought "mass formation" to the public's attention. I must say I feel quite vindicated because I've said for the past five years what's destroying the US is mass mental illness/weak minded people who are susceptible to "mass formation" through the Gaslight Media......I'm not sure how we bring these people back to reality.

I watched one of these goofy youtube videos where they take clips from TV shows and movies and have an expert critique the accuracy. This one was about cult movies and cult behavior. The expert was a cult deprogrammer.
It's kind of amazing how much of the way COVID has been handled mirrored the tactics cults use to program people.

The same goes for LeBron James. He’s a slave to his social media following. Pretending that cops are on a murderous rampage against American black men pleases social media and the Chinese Communist Party.
Wow... fantastic..

I wonder what his behavior was like in say the 3rd grade, or middle school, possibly even high school? Sometimes people are just immature and hot headed.
Yet we search for some other deep seeded reason when a person acts stupid.

People who are under the control of "mass formation" are not aware of their circumstance. It's mind control through mass gaslighting which brings on a false reality for a significant portion of society. There's a lot of weak minded people and those people are susceptible to "mass formation" through the Gaslight Media, with their half truths, lies, and disinformation that runs 24/7/365 on every Gaslight Media outlet. They have really fricked over a shite load of weak minded Americans.
Gotta give Trump some credit here......he brought it to the attention of millions of Americans.

No one ever talked about mass formation psychosis before 1 week ago. Now the dude mentions it on Rogan's pod, and immediately Whitlock is certain Antonio Brown has the thing he never would have said AB has if the dude didn't popularize it on Rogan 1 week.
Just so dumb.

I guess I should rephrase: Is this an accepted theory in psychology? I can’t readily find anything published about this that isn’t more than a week old.

I agree that the CTE thing is likely a cop out, but his overall analysis here is rather goofy.
He's pointing out various icons of sports and saying 'see, they never flaked out like this,' but ignoring the fact that all eras have had athletes who flaked out in similar manners at times. I think it's silly to lay it all at the hands of our current society, even if there is plenty to criticize about our current society.

It appears to be related to this and fairly new. With the current state of the media and political dumbassary, it appears to be legit.
People let the gaslight media freak them out.
Look at you people and Russia, Russia, Russia. Now it’s January 6th.
We had a poster yesterday say a cop was beat to death by protesters on Jan 6.
That’s a lie and he likely has mass formation psychosis.

Mass psychogenic illness is when people in a group start feeling sick at the same time even though there is no physical or environmental reason for them to be sick. They could think they’ve been exposed to something dangerous, like a germ or a toxin (poison). This could happen to a class in a school or workers in an office.
